Singapore, day three

Blisters on my feet. But I wanted an alternative to the hotels breakfast and went to a food center. Different breakfast versions from all over asia. Call me a coward but I went for some sandwiches and tea.

From the guy at the internet cafe I got a tip where to go to find some cheap memory sticks. Funan IT mall. Just picture all the shops listed at www.geizhals.at in one building: nerds heaven.
But not with blisters on nerds feet. Got the memorystick, went to the IT-restroom and back home.

On my way I dropped into a small restaurant for some fried chicken rice. According to the coppied and by 400% enlarged newspaper article in the front window they had the best in town. It wasn’t bad but not exeptional. So either they wrote the article by themselfs or the chef de cuisine had his free day.

Back in my room I took a nap. Jetlag finally got me.

On my way to the bathroom the cockroach crossed my path: hunting time!

Update:
While I was sitting in my bed, writing my blog I saw this dead bug moving. Impossible! When you kill a cockroach of this size you make shure the head is off and it’s dead. Well, do you remember the ants in those comic films?

Update to the update:
While the ants are still moving their prey forth and back around the same corner I hear a cirping noise next to my bed. I take a look and think to see a gecko. Switching on the camera, waiting for the flash to load and taking a second look the gecko is gone.
Just when I lean back I see the big brother cockroach of the one I killed vanishing under my bed. Changed beds without touching the floor.
I hope the little gecko can handle the situation.
