Even though it’s called Surfers Paradise the surfers are not so happy with the surf. And even though I imagined myself trying to surf once or twice I didn’t. Instead I rented a mountain bike and drove up and down the coastline.

Today we went to Walkabout Creek, a little park with animals that are common in the Brisbane area.
But all the other annimals where not as interesting as the platibus (Schnabeltier). I remember hearing about it in school it was by far the most interesting and funniest animal.

Port Douglas

Getting up not too early we had a hardly greasy muesli and left for Port Douglas. The way there was mainly coastal drive.
 
In Port Douglas we drove up on the lookout hill and had a good look on the four miles beach.

That’s all.
