Surfers

Even though it’s called Surfers Paradise the surfers are not so happy with the surf. And even though I imagined myself trying to surf once or twice I didn’t. Instead I rented a mountain bike and drove up and down the coastline.
Mountainbike at Surfers... sometimes you simply aren’t that adventures and want to stick to the things you know.
Somehow I think I am a little homesick.

Goldcoast seems to be the melting pot of queensland. I have met people from all over the world but this place seems dominated by asians.
Which means good sushi!

And I start to hate hotels... want to get back into my own bed again, my own shower and sofa.

Getting back to Brisbane tomorrow. Good timing ‘cause it said to be raining here at the Gold Coast area. So this means a last hug for the Morris family and the highly sophisticated job of making 40kg look like 27kg.
Bought a second-hand book here for the flight.
Somehow I wish I could stay again a few days in Singapore...

Had lots and lots of pancakes an crepes for dinner. I think I am about to burst. But it’s time for one last challenge: getting a caipirinha!

OK, I guess thats it. It’s more or less the end of the blog.
I will update the whole thing with facts, locations and routes once I am home but this could take some time.
The Cairns - Cooktown - Cairns episode lacks some days too.
The gallery haven’t had an update in a while so this will happen too.
Stand by for an update announcement.

Thanks for reading along.
