OK, back at Brisbane, back at a keyboard and plugged into the net again.
First things first: I lost my Memorysticks with all the pictures I took during this week.
So pictures you see here or on the gallery are either from Nick or from the internet.
Flying in Australia is really save. I had a few tent pegs in my hand luggage which where parts of a beach tent for sun and wind protection (which we never used, like the boogie board we took along) and a rugby ball. We had to let the air out of the ball and leave the tend pegs behind.
Ok, now I want you to use all your imagination and come up with a plan to high-jack a plane with tent pegs.
If you succeed send me a mail. The best one gets a price... I don’t know what kind of price but it will definately be soft and cosy and has no sharp edges.
Landing in Cairns 150 minutes later we took a taxi to our 4WD Camper. When whe had our luggage in the camper there was not much place left. So we went shopping for food to fill that up too.
We left the town to get up north and find a camping place. Decided to take our chance at Palm Beach.
Unpacking our stuff Nick found out that the olive oil we brought along on the plane exploded between the other food. Everyhing was covered with a thin, greasy oil film. There wasn’t hardly enough left for barbeque.
A stolen toilet paper later we had cleaned up our food and somehow managed a delicous barbeque after all.
Unfolded our beds and folded ourselfs in the van.
